Coronado Key Club

Coronado Key Club was founded in October 3, 2001. We currently have over 150 members who serve their community. We partake in many different service events from desk cleanings at our school to helping our community with their events. Check out the Key Club International page for more information!

Who We Are

Our Story

Key Club is an organization of students who share similar passions for four main concepts- leadership, character building, caring, and inclusiveness. Our main goal is to create a lasting positive impact on our school and community through social events and service opportunities throughout the year. Another goal we have is to raise $500 as club towards the Pediatric Trauma Program through various fundraisers throughout the year. Key Club aims to cooperate with school principals and teachers to provide high school students with invaluable experience in living and working together and to prepare them for useful citizenship. Our members develop initiative and leadership skills by serving their schools and communities.

The original concept was to develop a vocational guidance program aimed to combat the problems of a student fraternity. The idea evolved into the formation of a youth service organization

for the home, school and community. The first Key Club met at Sacramento High School in California in 1925.
